Everything you need to know to join JALISCAVO as a Partner, Member or Independent Grower, sell us your fruit or buy our avocados.
For growers: Partners and Members
There are three ways: become a shareholder Partner, become a Member (no shares to buy, an annual fee per hectare and a volume agreement) or sell us your fruit. Becoming a Partner is always the most advantageous option for the grower.
The best return on your fruit, with preferential packing terms and JALISCAVO's marketing; profit sharing; a voice and vote at the Shareholders' Meeting; access to every market and commercial program; and preferential access to Luna UCR genetics. You also become a co-owner of the plant.
A Partner is a JALISCAVO shareholder: they have a voice and vote, share in profits and enjoy preferential terms. A Member does not buy shares: they pay an annual fee per hectare, sign a volume agreement and gain access to JALISCAVO's commercial programs and traceability.
Members do not buy shares: they pay an annual fee per hectare and sign a supply agreement with committed volume. Terms are presented individually.
Yes. Partners always have priority; after that, as a Member you can deliver fruit under a volume agreement without buying shares, with better returns than a conventional packer and access to the best commercial programs.
Yes. We buy fruit from pre-approved growers to complement our programs. The fruit must meet the same quality, food-safety and traceability standards as our partners' fruit.
There is no contractual obligation, but it pays to: by cutting out middlemen and selling directly to supermarkets in every market open to Jalisco fruit, returns are higher. It is simply a matter of planning your harvest well.
You choose the arrangement: fixed price, price band or consignment. JALISCAVO markets the fruit seeking the best possible return, and settlements are itemized by lot and by orchard, with clear and transparent quality rules.
A better price per kilo with no middlemen, direct access to the best markets and programs, traceability for your fruit and, as a Partner, profit sharing and a say in decisions. The extra return lets you reinvest and grow without relying on the spot market.
Because that way growers get the best possible return on their fruit and, as co-owners, take part in decisions and in the growth of the packing house. JALISCAVO grows when growers grow.
Through formal corporate governance: a Shareholders' Meeting, a Board of Directors and working committees (Commercial and Quality, among others). There is a single class of shares, with the same rights and obligations for every partner.
We look for avocado orchards in Jalisco with quality fruit and export potential, harvest volume and continuity, a commitment to traceability and food safety, and documentation in order. Certifications (GLOBALG.A.P., organic and others) are a plus but not required to start.
All fruit is graded by size and class and channeled to the most suitable market: export, domestic or processing.
Send your application from the Growers page or message us on WhatsApp. Our sourcing team will visit your orchard, assess quality and volume and present the most suitable option.
About JALISCAVO and our avocados
In Gómez Farías, in southern Jalisco, Mexico. Our packing house is on the Ciudad Guzmán – Gómez Farías highway, km 2.2, ZIP 49120.
Fresh avocados, mainly Hass, graded by size and class. We also pack Luna UCR avocados seasonally.
Yes. Our growers' orchards in Jalisco range from 1,100 to 2,300 m above sea level. Each altitude harvests at a different time, so we can supply avocados 12 months a year.
Larger, more uniform orchards with even ripening and technified irrigation. For buyers, that means a more predictable origin and traceability that repeats year after year.
A variety developed by the University of California Riverside. Its type B flower pollinates Hass, it allows more trees and higher yield per hectare, and it ripens after Hass. JALISCAVO is the first company authorized to propagate and market it in Mexico, with plants available from Vivero Luna (www.viveroluna.com).
The packing house has an installed processing capacity of 20 tonnes per hour.
We grade on an AI-powered precision camera line, which combines machine vision with individual weighing of every fruit. Operations are managed on Hispatec's ERP, and we apply PLU labels automatically.
Yes. We sell in the United States, Mexico, Canada, Europe, Japan, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and South America.
For customers and buyers
25 lb cases for North America, 4 kg for Europe, 5.6 kg for Japan, 10 kg cases for the domestic market and PLU labeling for retail. Final specifications are agreed with each customer.
Yes. Because we work directly with the orchards, we can set up certification programs to match what the customer requires — for example, certifying several orchards with staggered harvests under a specific scheme.
Every lot is registered at intake by grower and by orchard. Cases and pallets carry traceability labels, and the data is managed in our ERP through to dispatch.
Document control at intake, automated grading by size and external quality, in-line quality supervision, cold storage and temperature recording on every shipment.
